Harbour Terrace Gorleston-on-Sea Norfolk

Many say “Gorleston is Norfolk’s best kept secret” and we have to agree.

A mile long sandy family and dog friendly beach (dog restrictions, may-september), RNLI beach guarded from May to September, with the all new and great fun ‘Splash-pad’, and a traditional model yacht pond.

Lovely promenade and cliff top walks with beautiful gardens, young ones climbing and play area, putting green, trim-trail and bowling greens. Plenty of good cafes, bars and restaurants too, for all those refreshment needs. ‘Oh and the ice creams here are just the best’.

Its very own Pavilion Theatre with seasonal shows and a band stand hosting ‘live music’ on some Sunday afternoons during the summer months.

Close by is a popular supermarket and bustling high street with a 4 full screen ‘Palace Cinema’, ‘The William Adams’ Wetherspoons pub, a post office, Chemist,Butchers, take-away eateries and many other usefull retailers.

For the non-drivers a regular, reliable bus service from the High Street to Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and surrounding areas is available.

All this as well as being situated in a great central location for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk with the beautiful broads and historic Norwich just a short drive away.
